We are a year 6-7 class from Haeata Community Campus from Christchurch.
We are really enjoying the first page of Dawn Raid and learning about New Zealand and especially the first McDonalds.
This year our learning is focused around Papatūānuku and Ranginui and ngā Atua. Here is our art work sharing our learning clothing Papatūānuku and Ranginui.
Morena Haeata Community Campus, we also enjoyed learning about the first McDonalds. Did you know that a cheeseburger was only 40c back then? We also found out that Ronald McDonald attended the opening ceremony, arriving in a helicopter which ended up eating his umbrella. We thought this might have been made up but a little bit researching confirmed that it actually happened!
